The HOX Swim Team Updates

Happy New Year from the HOX Swim Team! 2023 is going to be another great season on the pool deck. While our fall program has come to an end, our High School Prep program is still in full swing getting our teens ready for their high school swim season. Our HOX Board and Committee members are busy planning our swim season and filling the social calendar. The official HOX kickoff party is Sunday, March 5th. Mark your calendars. This is the day that our theme for the new season is revealed, and the swimmers can gather to try on suits, get new gear and reunite with long lost swim friends from last summer. This is also a great time for interested swimmers to come meet the coaches and see what the HOX family is all about.

Winter Junior Olympics 2022

Congratulations to all our HOX swimmers, who participated in the 2022 Winter Junior Olympics in December. The HOX swim team sent 11 swimmers that qualified for 35 events and 7 relays – Maddie Melvin, Morgan McCay, Katelyn Yoo, Graham Hodson, Isabella Valdes, Lucas Tsubota, Tyler McCay, Logan Larive, Tatum Akey, Harlow Heiden and Mia McConnell. Special shout out to Tatum Akey and Morgan McCay, who qualified for finals and the 10&under girls Maddie Melvin, Morgan McCay and Katelyn Yoo, who took home bronze and silver medals in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle relay, respectively.
