Sensory Intelligence with Chiropractic

Did you know we are wired for sensory experiences? That’s correct, we are wired to experience life through our senses. Most people have eight senses! That’s right, many people only know about five. Your innate intelligence actually gifts you eight: vision, smell, taste, touch, hearing, interoception (perception of senses inside the body), vestibular (sense of balance) and proprioception (knowing your body’s position or self movement).

Sensory experiences through all of our senses create a memory in our limbic system. The limbic system is our emotion regulator. And it’s the emotional memories that are harder to get over. The more senses on board during any experience, the stronger the memory that’s created.

Pro tip: When learning, bring multiple sensory experiences into the environment to optimize learning!!

At Anatomy Power Wellness, we are here to help you optimize and up-regulate your software with each chiropractic adjustment. Our body’s daily functions from breathing to dancing, handwriting and problem solving are all examples of our body’s software function. The structure and shape of our spine is our hardware. When we optimize the software we equally optimize our hardware. Essentially, change the spine, change the brain. We are always in continuous recalibration to match our changing environment thanks to our amazing cerebellum. Come check out our fun healing environment to expand your sensory intelligence with chiropractic care.
