Some summers stay with you long after the suitcases are unpacked. This one carried me from the ancient streets of Athens to the whitewashed cliffs of Santorini and the turquoise coastline of Cyprus. Sun-warmed stone, flashes of Aegean blue, bougainvillea spilling over walls, sleepy cats and endless steps—there seemed to be a photograph waiting around every corner.
What stays with me most is simply wandering with my camera and no hurry, collecting little moments along the way. Photographs have a way of slowing down a journey even after it’s over. And as summer fades into fall, it feels good to unpack the memories, settle back into familiar rhythms, and come home to the golden hills and warm embrace of Blackhawk.
