Outdoor Living

The past few months have been a scary whirlwind of home isolation, and as we re-enter into the world socially, it is important to do so safely. Visiting with friends and family outdoors is a great way to be social while also keeping a safe distance. The fresh air and sunlight is good for the soul, and outdoor living will be the new way of life as we continue through the summer.

Create an inviting living area with an outdoor sectional that has bright and colorful cushions and waterproof pillows in fun patterns such as a banana leaf motif. Outdoor rugs made of Nylon, a weatherproof outdoor option, can help to define a sitting area on a large deck. To combat a cool and breezy summer night, add a fire pit to your set-up. Options range from propane gas table fire pits to natural wood burning brick fire pits, all of which can be safe and add warmth, as well as ambiance. Host a dinner party with a long outdoor dining table, umbrella with LED lights and comfy outdoor patio chairs. Hammocks and lounge recliners are a great way to relax and catch a tan under the summer sun. Even your dog can get in on the fun with modern dog houses and outdoor beds that can help keep your pup cool and comfortable.

In addition to being able to enjoy outdoor living areas for as long as you live in your home, it’s also a great ROI (return on investment). Outdoor kitchen, decks and pergolas, and patio pavers add value to your home when it comes time to sell.
