What a great day it was for the annual Angel Cup tournament and a wonderful way to meet other ladies from clubs around the East Bay. Niners welcomed 45 ladies from Del Rio, Stonebrae, Orinda, Moraga, Round Hill, Crow Canyon and Diablo Country Clubs. Many of these clubs have invited the Niners to play at their clubs in return.
Members and guests arrived at the Falls for pregame breakfast snacks before heading out for a best 2 net ball competition. In addition, on one front and one back par 3, there were awards for whomever put their tee shot within an angel chalked on the green. For a $20 donation, golfers could use an “angel dust” certificate for one mulligan or a get out of a bunker. All proceeds went to Youth on Course, raising $900 for this wonderful charity which provides young people with access to life-changing opportunities through golf.
Members have access to play rounds of golf for $5 or less at thousands of golf courses in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
