Morasky Clay Wealth Management:

Where client goals meet exceptional service

Mark Morasky’s interest in finance began when he was a cadet at West Point. Although he majored in aerospace engineering, after his service in the Army he went on to work in the corporate world, leading and managing people. In 1996 he decided his true passion was in finance and in owning his own business. While living in Madison, Wisconsin, he joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2006 and partnered with Erik Clay, another senior advisor to open Morasky Clay Wealth Management, Merrill.

In 2012 Mark and his wife, Lydia, who is also in financial services, moved to Danville, and Mark opened his East Bay office serving employees and executives of publicly traded companies, business owners, and high net worth families. He and his team are committed to providing a high quality wealth planning experience, helping clients achieve their goals while making their financial life easy to understand.

“There were many valuable lessons that I learned at West Point, which are at the heart of what I do – critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and how to be adaptive, agile and flexible in an ever changing world,” says Mark. “Working in the field of financial services requires all of this and is what makes it very exciting, but what I enjoy most is the interaction with our clients. I take the time to really know them and listen to what their life goals are. Together we develop a plan to help make those goals a reality.”

Mark and Lydia are Blackhawk country club members and active supporters of PGA HOPE (Helping our Patriots Everywhere), which introduces golf to veterans with disabilities. The golf becomes a means to enhance veteran’s physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. Mark recently became the Tournament Director of Blackhawk’s Invest in Hope Golf Tournament, which is a fundraiser for PGA HOPE. Through Blackhawk country club, Mark and Lydia have also made life-long friends through playing golf, bocce, and taking occasional trips with other members. “We are very proud to be part of this amazing community,” says Mark.

Mark brings the tenets of honor and duty that he learned at West Point to all aspects of his life, including his work. He adds, “Our goal is to be the premier financial advisors to the Blackhawk community. What makes us different is our comprehensive approach. If you are interested in discussing your personal financial situation, we are just a phone call away. We would love to get to know you.”
