Meet Rachel, Blackhawk resident and Wine Director at The Vine and Spirits and at Bridges restaurant in Downtown Danville.
Rachel has been living in Blackhawk for 3 years and has been at the Vine 2.5 years. She used to always shop at The Vine because they had the best wine selection around, and in 2018 accepted a job to run their wine club and wine program for the retail shop and restaurant and manage the restaurant.
Rachel’s passion has always been in food and wine. About 6 years ago she changed careers from a legal assistant into the wine business and has never been happier. Rachel loves finding small production, boutique wineries and sharing these wines with her guests and wine club members. Next time you are at The Vine, make sure to say hi to Rachel and ask her what special wine finds she suggests.
