Making your dreams possible is the focus at Summit Financial

“Money is nothing more than a resource that gives people the chance to live their best life.” If Steve Wilcox of Summit Financial Group can help make this happen, then his days are always filled with inspiration.

Steve and his wife, Gina, have six children, a blended family ranging from age 16 to 33. Their youngest attends Monte Vista High School and the others are working or in college. They also have a Cavapoo named Sadie and a Tea Cup Schnauzer named Aria. Steve is very involved in giving back to the community, having served on boards of many nonprofits like San Ramon Rotary, YMCA and others. He ran a golf tournament for 17 years which supported many local charities and is the current President of Summit’s charitable foundation.

“We are an amazing and blessed community here in the San Ramon Valley,” he says. “For those lucky enough to own and operate a business here, and those who get to call it home, make sure you are involved in and contributing to the continuation of this special place so that future generations get to share in this dream too.”

Steve has been in the business of financial planning and wealth management for 28 years. He was drawn to the field because it gives him the opportunity to change lives in a positive way. “Watching clients achieve goals, retire, send kids to college, upgrade their homes, go on dream vacations is what I enjoy most,” he adds.

Summit Financial started with just a few individuals and has grown to 40 professionals making a difference in their clients’ lives and the community. They’ve done this by building strong relationships, focusing on the highest level of service, competency, and ethical decision making. “Planning and being proactive in your finances can be life altering and truly lead you to the dreams that make this life, and your impact, all worthwhile.”
