Happy Fall from the HOX! We cannot believe that it’s that time of year when people are out shopping for the holidays and preparing for their Thanksgiving dinners. Although driving through the gates these days, the local turkeys don’t seem to be too concerned about their thanksgiving plans. The HOX board is busy working behind the scenes preparing for the next summer swim season. This is the time of year when the board is busy selecting the theme from all the submissions from our team members. Once the theme has been selected, then the real work begins for our board of all the planning, how a theme is going to play out. Shirts and products must get ordered, car magnets, banners, etc. Months of planning to make sure everything is ready for the theme to be revealed to the team at our March launch party.
HOX held their annual Fall Classic Swim Meet in October and despite the rain, had 425 swimmers from all over the county come to swim at our pool.
Our Fall swim program ends Friday 11/17. The Fall swim program extension for JO qualifiers and select age groups will continue training through the end of the year.
The Blackhawk Country Club High School Prep swim program will begin in December, details to be published soon.
