Few names in the automotive world stir up passion and prestige quite like Ferrari. Born in 1947 out of Enzo Ferrari’s relentless drive for racing glory, Ferrari roared onto the scene with the 125 S—a sleek, V12-powered beast that marked the start of an iconic legacy. Though Enzo initially built cars to fund his racing team, it wasn’t long before Ferrari road cars became symbols of speed, luxury, and Italian flair. Over the decades, the Prancing Horse has charged through Formula 1 podiums, film cameos, and dream garages across the globe.

What makes Ferrari so special? It’s not just the performance—it’s the personality. Each model tells a story, blending cutting-edge technology with handcrafted elegance. The Ferrari 250 GTO of the 1960s is still considered one of the most beautiful (and valuable) cars ever made, while the 1980s gave us the pop-culture icon Testarossa with its flamboyant side strakes and raw power.
Blackhawk Plaza’s Museum Courtyard hosted a Ferrari show in early May, drawing out Spyders, Testarossas, Romas and their brethren, with their rumbling engines wowing would-be drivers.
