Among the multiple car shows up at Blackhawk Plaza, one with a big variety was East Bay Street Dreams. The show was held in September with a huge turnout. This nonprofit car club was founded in 2021 by auto enthusiasts – and Olds Cutlass owners – Jeanette Flagg and Kelly Shaw, and puts on a lively and family-friendly gathering every year at the Plaza. The club bills itself as a place where classic muscle cars and lowriders unite. At this year’s show, some of the autos in attendance were a monstrous, jacked up 2019 GMC Denali truck, classic 1960s Ford Mustangs, and a yacht-like 1960 Buick LeSabre Estate wagon.
