Heard from the Green

Beautiful mid-winter skies are a treat after we spoiled Californians endured a few months of frost delays and cold weather. Next week Contra Costa County anticipates removing the mandatory mask requirement and this cub reporter, for one, is looking forward to our tournaments back to the way they should be held. Sign-ups for the May 5 & 6 BWGA Spring Tournament, our 4-person member tournament, will begin in March. The March 5 Scotch tournament, open to all Blackhawk members, is open for signs ups now.

“There is no such thing as natural touch. Touch is something you create by hitting millions of balls.” – Lee Trevino

TrackMan cometh. The new 18 station TrackMan Range should be completed by the end of February. Sign-ups will be available on ForeTees. OK Lee Trevino, game on. Blackhawk keeps taking excuses away from us…

Congratulations to our January Charm Day winners.
