Blackhawk Scholarship Fund (BSF) provides college scholarships to Contra Costa high school women in financial need who demonstrate outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement. BSF gave $5,000 each to six remarkable young women and hosted its annual Awards Ceremony at the Blackhawk Country Club for the honorees and their parents to celebrate their success. The honorees are Mariella Cajina, Laura Khuu, Lesly Silva Rosales, Alessandra May Tabbu, Isabella Thai, Adelina Zheng. This fall, they will be attending UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Brown University, UC Davis, UC Irvine and California State San Luis Obispo. BSF congratulates these fine women on their exceptional high school resumes and wishes them well in college. Since its inception, BSF has awarded over $460,000 in scholarships.
