The Blackhawk Bloomers Garden Club kicks off its 2024-2025 year. We have many amazing activities planned and hope you will consider joining us. You do not need to know anything about gardening to participate!
We have monthly luncheons in the ballroom with a featured speaker. Planned topics for the coming year include garden-inspired accessories, floral design, chocolate agriculture and making, perfume making, and do no harm wine making and tasting.

We also conduct workshops where you can get to know other members in a smaller setting. Planned activities include how to make a moss board, a tillandsia wreath, a hanging succulent garden, a flower arrangement, and a terrarium. We also have day away field trips to wonderful garden-related places.
Our group is also very involved in community service. We volunteer at Tassajara Hills Elementary School and work with the kids to teach them how to garden. We also volunteer at The Bounty Garden each summer and grow hundreds of pounds of vegetables for our local food banks and others in need. We also beautify Blackhawk each December by planting thousands of daffodil bulbs.

Please consider joining our welcoming group of women! Our dues are $50 a year. To join, you must be a resident of Blackhawk or a member of the Blackhawk Country Club. To join or learn more, contact Maria Knutson at m.knutson@comcast.net.
