Fleet Week always falls around my mom’s birthday and this year we didn’t have school the Friday of Fleet Week, so it was a perfect time to head to Sausalito to watch the show in the sky.
We parked at the start of the Mill Valley/Sausalito bike trail, so we could bike in and skip the traffic.
It’s a beautiful ride along the water and my favorite part was checking out all the cool houseboats.
We arrived just in time to find a spot on the water to eat lunch and watch the show. I love the Blue Angels! I tried to get a picture of them, but they move too fast. If you haven’t seen them yet, I highly recommend it.
No trip to Sausalito is complete without getting some ice cream (and a coffee for my parents) before the bike ride back.
